Silent Voices is a video artwork that explores the mental health issues related to cultural differences and disconnects experienced by international students. Departing from an argument between the subjects, the narrative of the film provides two opposing internal perspectives that project the core reasons behind the ineffective conversation, as a microcosm of the larger issues around institutional mental health support and the lack of mental health awareness due to social and cultural influences.
