刘纯青是专业策展人、艺术家、平面设计师。她出生于中国厦门，2013 年移居加拿大。于2021年获得多伦多大学建筑系学士学位，目前在多伦多大学Daniels建筑学院攻读视觉艺术策展研究硕士学位。她的策展实践在考虑到社会问题的同时，也侧重于社区参与和场地特定性。刘纯青同时也是一名经验丰富的艺术教育者，拥有着超过五年的私人辅导及大学助教经验，其内容包括艺术作品集咨询、当代艺术文化、考学文书和批判性写作。
